Why We Were Founded
Right Financial Advisor was founded by experienced members of the financial services industry and marketing professionals. As a company we recognized the need for comprehensive financial planning for all families across many socioeconomic backgrounds.
We were founded in order to connect investors and their families to someone that they like, trust, and respect. Our mission is to help facilitate a better relationship between investors and advisor that can last through many market cycles.
From a financial advisor’s perspective our value proposition is that not all client referrals will fit their practice, style and personality and that their skills and methods of managing money are not necessarily the best fit for all investors. It was this precept that is the foundation of creating Right Financial Advisor.
Our goal is to match investors to their right financial advisor, and to match advisors to the right clients to help grow their practice.
About Our Founder
Rick Cross is a 32 year veteran of the financial services industry. Starting out in the insurance field, Rick quickly realized the need for comprehensive financial planning for all families regardless of their age or incomes. His philosophy has always been that there are two types of clients. Those who need help managing their wealth, and those who need help acquiring wealth through systematic investments.
He has witnessed the evolution of 401k plans replacing traditional pension plans and has helped educate numerous families on the future costs of college tuition and how to create plans for properly funding those costs.
Rick’s most interesting value proposition was that not all client referrals fit his practice, style and personality and that his skills and methods of managing money are not necessarily the best fit for all investors. It was this precept that is the foundation of creating Right Financial Advisor.
Rick also saw that many advisors asked only the basic questions before determining the right asset allocation for clients. Many used only 10 questions to determine a person’s risk tolerance. By asking many probing questions, and personality related questions, Right Financial Advisor can learn quite a bit about an individual investor’s financial DNA.
